ELIGIBILITY

 
  • A pass in Higher Secondary or equivalent.
  • The candidates who have obtained a Three year Diploma in Fire & Industrial Safety Engineering are eligible to get Direct Admission in IInd year of B.Sc under lateral scheme.
  • The candidates who have obtained a Three year Diploma in Engineering of any Discipline after SSLC/Two year Diploma in Engineering of any Discipline after HSC from a recognized institution (Government) are eligible to get Direct Admission in IInd year of B.Sc under lateral scheme.

DURATION

The duration of the B.Sc (FISM) programme is three years.

MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION

The medium of Instruction is English only.

NUMBER OF SUBJECTS

The total number of courses for the program is 27 including practical.

ATTENDANCE

Students those who secure at least 80 % of attendance in the year will only be eligible to appear for the examination of that year. Those who fail to secure the required attendance shall repeat the same year/course during the subsequent academic year.

UNIVERSITY EXAMINATIONS

The university examinations will be held at the end of each year for duration of three hours for each subject.
